Overview
Kotoba Ciphers ("the App") is a word puzzle game developed by RyoSaeba35. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the App and how it is used.
We do not require account registration, and we do not directly collect any personal information from you.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Names, email addresses, or account credentials
- Location data
- Photos, contacts, or files from your device
- Any personally identifiable information
Advertising & Third-Party SDKs
The App displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, including:
- Device identifiers (e.g. Android Advertising ID)
- IP address and general location (country/region level)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
- Device model, OS version, and language settings
This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with their own privacy policies. You can review Google's privacy practices at: policies.google.com/privacy.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
Children's Privacy
Kotoba Ciphers is intended for users aged 13 and older. The App requires the ability to read and write to play, and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Data Retention
Since we do not directly collect user data, we have no user data to retain or delete. Any data collected by third-party SDKs (such as AdMob) is subject to Google's own retention policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves (for example, if we add features such as accounts or cloud saves). Updates will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
